Madsen Reunion at Bear Lake

This is my first ever blog posting and, thanks to Tawnie's friend Heidi, I have an adorable blog header. Now I am determined to keep a journal of our family's activities and wanted to start with our trip to Bear Lake to join other family members on the Madsen side for the 4ht of July week. We do this every other year because my family has to travel from various states/cities across the country (Ohio, Oklahoma, and Vernal). It is great to get together with family and catch up on all that is going on. It is also neat to see cousins play so well together even when they are not around each other for sometimes a year or more. Thanks mom and dad, for providing an opportunity for this gathering...It was the best!

The Madsen clan on the beach at Ideal Beach.

Zach in heaven as a fish in and out of the water.

Zach with cousin Kendale on the tube before the "ride" has started.

Zach and Kendale on the tube while Zach is saying "too fast"...

The two boys scouting the route while cousin Adam drives.

Jenna and Taylor on the tube.

Zach and Adam playing "Guitar Hero II". Zach's favorite
game now and he was better than his mom.

Aron and Sherri enjoying the refreshing water.

Zach and Kendale burying themselves in the sand.

Kendale really buried in the sand with Austin's "cool" sunglasses.

Christian, Emily, and Zach in "their hot tub".

Brent with mom and dad relaxing on the beach.

Adam, Kendale, Zach, and Jenna lounging after the fireworks on the 4th.

Robert, Austin, Christine, Chad lounging after fireworks.

Alicia and Breanne in the "hoodies".

Andie and Brent.

Emily and Zach eating frozen Capri Sun slushies.

Zach and Austin.

Part of the family eating at a Pizza Place in Garden City
before the Labrums head home. Zach thought he was
pretty funny sticking his tongue out.

Nice post. Way to go. Looks like a lot of family fun. I think it's great your family does this every other year. Nothing better than providing time to be together as a family.
Love ya.

Nice first blog, Teresa. Glad you all had a good time. I especially like the photo of Zach "kicking back" playing the guitar game with his visor on. Talk about one cool kid!! We are anxious to see what this guitar game is all about. See you soon. Love Mom and DAd
